Hire Fees

Wedding Package

Includes full use of the whole Barn from Friday 4pm until Sunday 12 midday

A deposit of £250 is required for all Wedding bookings.

Calendar year 2024 - £1900

Calendar year 2025 - £2000

 

Prices will be held until the end of the calendar year for Wedding Packages once the deposit is received and the booking form has been signed

 

The Whole Barn

Saturday and Bank Holidays

£65 per hour from 9am to 7pm

£110 per hour from 7pm to midnight

Sunday to Friday

£65 per hour from 9am to midnight

 

The Main Hall including use of the kitchen

Saturday and Bank Holidays

£35 per hour from 9am to 7pm

£65 per hour from 7pm to midnight

Sunday to Friday

£30 per hour from 9am to midnight

 

All Other Rooms including use of a kitchen

Any Day Of The Week (per room)

£15 per hour from 9am to midnight

 

Regular Hirers 

Monday - Thursday and Friday until 6pm

Main Hall - £17 per hour 9am to midnight

All other rooms - £12 per hour 9am to midnight

 

NOTES

  • Please read the CONDITIONS OF HIRE before booking.
  • The hiring period must include preparation and clearing up time.
  • The latest start time is 7pm.
  • The premises must be vacated by 12 midnight.
  • The minimum hire for any room after 7pm is 2 hours.
  • A fully licenced bar is available, and must be requested at the time of booking.
  • The premises licence requires the bar to cease selling alcohol at 11:20pm.
  • All hirings include use of the car park during the hire period jointly with other hirers.
  • Bookings made more than six months in advance will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of payment.
  • Access to the kitchen and use of the tables and chairs is included in the fee. We do not hire out cutlery or crockery.
  • The hirers are expected to return any furniture used to where they found it and to sweep the floor.
  • An adult must accompany all children using the lift.
  • The use of naked flames, smoke machines and unanchored helium balloons is not permitted for safety and insurance reasons.
  • All hirer’s rubbish, both inside and outside, is to be bagged and placed in the appropriate bins in the car park.

PAYMENT

  • All fees are payable in advance. The payment of a deposit will confirm the booking. The deposit will be held in our bank account (cheques will be cashed).
  • For bookings on Friday, Saturday or Sunday or any day over four hours the deposit is £100. For all other bookings the deposit is £50.  The deposit will be returned after the event, provided we do not incur any damage to the premises and gardens, or contravention of the conditions of hire. We reserve the right to raise a charge if it is left in an excessively dirty state. 
  • Any booking made less than six weeks before the event must be paid in full when booking, including the deposit and fees.

Payment can be made by cheque made payable to 'Bishop's Cleeve Village Hall’ or by BACS.

Deposits will be returned within a month of the date of the event, quicker if we can refund you by BACS.
