
After coming up the stairs or the lift, turn right into the modern New Bar Room with its large glass windows or left into the magnificent Main Hall with a high vaulted ceiling with original oak beams, a raised stage at the far end and the upstairs Kitchen off.
THE MAIN HALL
The Main Hall features the original 14th century oak-beamed roof and stone walls. It has the best sprung maple wood dance floor in the area. There is a PA system with both wired and wireless microsphones plus BlueTooth connectivity, ideal for playing music from a phone or tablet. The maximum capacity of the room is 150, or 120 seated at tables in a space 15m long and 9m wide. The raised stage is 5m deep, with curtains and a proscenium arch 5m wide.
Equipment can be brought into the Main Hall either via the main entrance and lift or by using the fire escape doors to the rear car park (7 steps).
There are 24 oblong tables 6ft by 2½ft and 14 square tables 3ft x 2½ft provided and also 120 chairs.
The kitchen off the hall has a large electric oven with ceramic hobs, a large larder fridge, a commercial dishwasher and a constant hot water boiler. There is a serving hatch to the hall.
NOTE: The barn does not have any crockery and cutlery or any cooking utensils. If these are required, they would need to be hired or brought in separately.


THE NEW BAR
The New Bar is is located on the first floor in the modern extension and measures 7.5m x 5m. The maximum capacity is 35. The bar has a shuttered servery onto the room and has beers on tap as well as a range of bottled beverages.
There are 8 tables 6ft x 2½ft and 30 chairs provided.
The Tithe Barn is licensed for the sale of alcoholic drinks. The bar facilities are available on request at the time of booking.
NOTE: Our licence does not permit alcohol to be brought in to the premises by either the hirer or guests, for consumption or sale.
