It is very important that you read our Conditions of Hire and our other Policies before making a decision to hire.

To book the Tithe Barn for your function:
- Agree a date, time, rooms, and fee with the Booking Secretary by email (preferred) or phone (07542 101 705). Alternatively, use the Enquiries Form.
- When it is agreed with the Booking Secretary, your booking will be provisionally entered into the diary until a signed booking form and deposit are received.
- Download the Booking Form, or Wedding Booking Form. Complete it in ink and sign to say that you have accept the Conditions of Hire. Post it to the Tithe Barn.
- Pay the deposit either by BACS to Lloyds, account ‘Bishop’s Cleeve Village Hall’, sort code 30-91-87, account number 46080960 (please include a reference made up of your surname and the date of your hire using 6 figure format, for example ‘Smith 03/09/13’) or by cheque made out to ‘Bishop’s Cleeve Village Hall’ and include with the booking form.
- On receipt of your deposit, the booking will be confirmed. Note: The deposit will be held in our bank account. The deposit is returnable provided there has been no damage or other serious contravention of the Conditions of Hire.
- Check the Conditions of Hire to see when the hire fee is due.
The Trustees reserve the right to refuse bookings on a case by case basis
NOTES
- It is very important to read the Conditions of Hire before booking.
- A fully licensed bar is available and may be requested at the time of booking. The sale of alcohol will cease at 11.20pm.
- All hirings include use of the car park during the hire period jointly with other hirers.
- Access to a kitchen and use of tables and chairs is included in the fee. The Tithe Barn does not own any cutlery or crockery.
- Hirers are expected to treat the premises with respect and leave it in a state which they would like to find it: all furniture in its stored positions, floors swept and all rubbish (including cigarette butts) placed in the bins outside.
- The hiring period must include preparation and clearing up time.
- The latest start time is 7pm and the premises must be vacated by 12 midnight.
- The minimum hire for any room after 7pm is 2 hours. In addition, this applies for the Main Hall after 5pm on a Friday.
- If hiring the Main Hall and at least one downstairs room, the whole Tithe Barn must be hired.
- Rooms cannot be booked more than four weeks in advance for bookings of less than two hours from 5 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday to ensure availability of the Barn for major events.
- Please note that sound does travel from the Main Hall to the other rooms.
- The use of naked flames, smoke machines and unanchored helium balloons is not permitted for safety and insurance reasons. Other restrictions are listed in the Conditions of Hire.
